FREMONT, CA: AMD announces that its Embedded Radeon HD 7850 GPU has driven the performance of the BK Ultrasound, powered by Analogic, bk3000 ultrasound system. Analogic has been providing healthcare and technology solutions in order to better the healthcare offerings.

Analogic leverages GPGPU to provide cross-platform portability as well as greater performance and cost benefits. Backed by the AMD’s GPU technology, the company has achieved a three-fold increase in the amount of information in each ultrasound image and reduced time for capture to presentation, reports Marketwired.

The AMD Radeon HD 7850 is based on the Graphics Core Next architecture that helps in visual growth and parallel processing capabilities. The latest Analogic bk3000 ultrasound system is targeted for urology surgery, general image, and procedure guidance applications.
