FREMONT, CA: Carena, a provider of telemedicine, and integrated virtual clinic, launches ‘Anytime 1.5’, an upgraded version of its telemedicine software to achieve enhanced integration with local hospital systems and provider clinics. The announcement was made at the American Telemedicine Association conference held at Baltimore, Maryland.

Salient features of Anytime 1.5 are – improved clinical workflow views taking less time to educate medical providers; enhanced diagnosis process through secure transmission of a patient’s image or video; timely delivery of patient information to their regular provider through latest Provider Visit Report design; consistent and quality care through Virtual Practice Guidelines; simplified admissions process through improved Member Support.
Anytime 1.5 supports mobile browsers and provides integrated video capabilities for virtual exam room that allows location-independent virtual ‘house calls’ via tablets and smartphones. The workflow views for patients and clinics can be customized making way for easy image upload and linking capabilities.
With 82 percent of consumers ready to receive care in new ways, according to a recent report from PricewaterhouseCoopers, coupled with increased consumer interest in looking for competitive prices as a result of Affordable Care Act, the release of Anytime 1.5 has just come at the right time.
